I have some water babies on my hands! All three of them absolutely love the water!

We went to JC Penny to get the kids pics taken--the boys did great. Lila was tired and not happy about getting them done. Plus the lady kept making loud noises to get her attention but mostly just scared her so we didn't get many shots of her not crying. This was so not like my happy, bubbly little baby.

We tried Lila with her first bottle of pumped breastmilk--she did great with it but didn't finish it all. Here's Lochy eagerly finishing it off. We switched to a straw because he couldn't get it out good this way.

She started crying and Liam jumped up saying "I've got her" and entertained her for a while. Lila thinks her big brother is sooooo funny!

I wish the boys took it half as well as she does! I told Ian that I pity the woman who marries Liam. He's completely fine when he's doing something he wants to do but as soon as I ask him to clean up or something else it's all of a sudden, "But I'm siiiiiicccckkkkk." Insert Mommy eye roll here.

I'm also having this very irrational fear that something bad is going to happen to Lila. Like I can't sleep at night kind of fear. I'm terrified I'm going to lose her. Maybe because my cousin lost her newborn daughter a few weeks ago, I don't know. It's just this awful nagging feeling all the time and I don't know how to shake it. I wish it would go away.

2 Months

I can't believe my baby girl is already 2 months old (well yesterday she was). Its so sad how incredibly fast this precious time is flying by. I hold her as much as I can to get as many baby snuggles as possible. She nurses great and sleeps well. She is up to 11lbs 5oz (8lbs 14oz at birth) now and has the most kissable cheeks ever!

She continues to be such a good baby and is very calm and just very "chill." She is always "talking" to me and giving me the biggest gummy smiles! I love it but haven't been able to get any on camera yet. This is all she'll give me once she sees the camera.











Uncle John and Aunt Amy came to visit on Saturday. We had a nice visit.



And then Lochy all of a sudden spiked a 103 fever.





Lila loves her little play mat, especially the lion.





And the boys love it too.



We had Lila's Christening a couple weeks ago. We have a non denominational minister come to the house. The ceremony was very nice. I could've done without the crazy heat and Ian's brother and sister in law but we had a nice day despite them.





With her Godparents--my cousin Amanda and her husband Ray. They are due to have their first--a boy!--the beginning of July!!!

The day before Lila was born (39 weeks 3 days) and my belly literally at the breaking point--my skin started splitting at about 36 weeks from being stretched so far. I guess thats what an almost 9lb baby will do to ya! lol

ONE MONTH OLD!!! She's getting so big and has put on one pound since she's been born so she's now 9lbs 14oz! She's still such a good baby and I love her to pieces!



She started fussing and Liam decided she wanted to nurse so he tried to accommodate her. lol
