Wow, you have your hands full!

It's getting really irritating hearing this every time we go out with the boys. Just yesterday we went walking around the mall since it was such a lousy day and couldn't go to the park and 4 different people made the comment! I only have two kids people! This is not having my hands full--8 would be having my hands full. And they are so good especially when we're out so I don't know why people feel compelled to say this all the time. Grrrrr!

Well enough of my ranting. Sunday was Grammy and Pop's birthday celebration at the house in Parkside. The boys had a great time and ate up all the attention. I was pretty tired, it's a long drive with two little ones and Lochy didn't appreciate the ride back. He didn't eat much dinner before we left and the last 45 minutes of the ride hunger struck and he screamed the rest of the way home. Poor little guy.

Liam is being such a good boy lately and talking non stop. I'm telling ya, they boy does not like silence. His new thing recently has been lots of pretending when he plays. He discovered the doll house in the kids section of the library last week and had a blast with it! He made the little dolls take naps, wash their hands before cooking, and had them make me "toat" and "awfuls" (toast and waffles). Then the other day he informed me that this little yellow duck was now his baby. He told me "I have to fuggle (snuggle) my baby" and gave it kisses and hugs. Then he put it in my sling and carried it around for a while. He's such a sweet heart; he's gonna make a great daddy some day, after all he's learning from the best!

Lochy's favorite game is peek-a-boo and will do it with anything. He'll grab whatever and lift it over his head and hold it there til you say "Where's Lochy?" Then he'll bring it down really quick and laugh hysterically when you say "Peek-a-boo!" He thinks it's the greatest thing ever! Here's his rendition of the game and as you can see it doens't even have to cover his face for him to think he's hiding. LOL

They also love the park and you can't push them high enough on the swings. Liam loves to do everything fast and is always running around while Lochy tries desperately to keep up. The biggest compliment you can give Liam is to tell him he's fast. LOL Here's a couple pictures of them at the park from the other day when it was nice and warm still. Lochy loves the grass.
